Follow these natural tips to get healthy, shiny and silky hair

In general, women take care of their hair cautiously whereas men usually ignore it. In the earlier days pollution levels are low and there is no need to take special care of the hair. But, things have changed a lot and everyone must take care of their hair and failing to do so will result in disastrous effects after a few years. Even if you realize after suffering from hair related problems, you can’t do anything. Hair growth is a really slow process and once the hair fall had started, it is hard to control and recovery also takes very long time. If you follow some of these tips you won’t suffer from any hair related problems and most of these tips won’t cost you a penny.

  • Applying the red onion juice increases the production of collagen, which is one the key elements responsible for hair growth. Apply onion juice and keep your head idle for fifteen to twenty minutes and wash with mild shampoo thereafter.
  • Vinegar is very much useful in cleaning the scalp and can also be used to remove dandruff. It also helps in maintaining the balanced pH on the scalp and increases hair growth. Mix vinegar (100ml) with water (1.5l) well before applying.
  • Egg white is known for its high protein content and applying egg white and olive oil mixture will make your hair healthy and shiny.
  • Fenugreek is very useful in maintaining the natural color of your hair. Make a paste by mixing fenugreek powder with milk and wash it after applying for twenty to thirty minutes.
  • Mix Cayenne pepper powder with olive oil and apply it on your head. Capsaicin which is found in pepper activates the cells on the scalp and improves the blood flow. Applying this paste on the scalp where the thinning of hair occurs results in normal growth.
  • Coconut milk is rich in essential fats and proteins. Before going to bed, apply the coconut milk to your scalp and rinse it off with cool water next morning. This really helps in preventing the hair breakage.
  • Green tea can also decrease hair loss and improve hair growth. The anti-oxidants can help in making your hair stronger and healthier.
  • Indian gooseberry is being recommended for hair growth by traditional medicine experts from long back. Popularly known as Amla in India, this is rich in Vitamin C and very much helpful in improving hair pigmentation.
  • Hibiscus flower can control dandruff effectively and prevents premature ageing. It also thickens hair and one can prepare a paste of hibiscus flowers by mixing coconut or olive oil.
  • Crush garlic and prepare a paste by mixing it with Lavender oil or Flaxseed oil. You can apply this paste twice a week and continue this practice for three to four months for best results.

In most of the above mentioned procedures, you need to wash your hair with mild shampoo and cool water after applying the paste/mixture for twenty to thirty minutes.
